What moves the hand, and the circle that extends it.
To transmit.. To share and keep nothing back.
That is the heart of it. My driving force since the first day I cut glass.
I had never cut glass, never soldered. One morning, I knew. A deep intuition, impossible to ignore. I rose with the certainty of what I had to do. Not a reasoned choice but an evidence.
To find a path toward geometry open to everyone, uniting what moves me every day: the wisdom of the ancient and the intoxication of the contemporary. All of it sublimated by glass, symbol of purity and transparency.. A vertical art, a love that comes to me from churches..
This method, I first dreamed it before building it. It is organised around the spiral and the solids, two families that answer one another. The spiral took root in an ancient gesture of the craft, the batten-cut of stained glass makers, drawing regular strips from the glass; the work of Yann Lipnick allowed me to bring that intuition into the real. The solids, for their part, called for their own tools, born in the workshop, up to closing the volumes entirely. The method owes to the geometers, from Plato to Archimedes, as to Steve Durkee who gave zomes their name. It owes as much to Tiffany, whose copper foil setting it embraces, as to the gesture of the builders, those who raised light stone upon stone.
Nothing travels far without returning to anchor itself more deeply within us.
The work is done entirely by hand, from cutting to soldering. Glass, through its silica and its gift for resonating with light, is the ideal medium for revealing the splendor of geometries. The solder fuses in the present moment, emitting no other intention than the form itself.
So the hand learns quickly.
So the mind is free to create.
It all began with a dream, a chimera..
During my first courses, I trained Alexandre. I quickly sensed his desire, the call to let this art grow within him. Instinctively, I offered him to help me develop it. A strange exercise for me, who am used to doing everything on my own.
But Alexandre has always heard my heart, and worked with his whole being, without ever brushing against the idea of distorting my vision. He added his colors, his organized vision, his firmer grasp of the real. The mastery refined itself naturally, polished together to make it learnable by all.
We thus continued developing the guides and the hierarchy of work I had devised, to avoid mistakes, wasted time, wrong directions. From this encounter was born the ArtiZi-OM Design branch, the expression of a shared wish.
And if I wish with all my heart for this art to spread,
it is because it is beautiful.
Long before any consideration of sacred, spiritual or metaphysical mathematics. I want these geometries to exist because I find them beautiful, sublime and mysterious. From the spiral to the polyhedra, each holds a particular resonance, a language, whether aesthetic or alchemical.
Simply because it is beautiful.
Inspired by quantum physics, by poets as much as by physicists. Without overstating the idea that these shapes would hold every virtue anywhere but in the world of sensation. Artistic vision and science attract, then oppose each other. In Einstein, Kepler, da Vinci, they were often the starting point of discoveries.
mathematical verses, an epigram of light.
If it is beautiful to the point of filling the imagination with grace, then anything possessing that single virtue would possess them all.
Thank you to my family, my friends, and all those around the world who support this.
To God, without whom nothing would be possible.
Boris
Alexandre also offers courses using the ArtiZi-OM Design method in Burgundy. Once or twice a year, we will also offer a fuller course together.
Pablo Popall is a world within worlds.. On the edge of the real and of mineral dream.
He was my first partner, and it is he who prepares all my crystals for the mineral synergies.. A person as fascinating as he is kind, whose talent is matched only by his passion and his professionalism.
We have worked together for 5 years, and his universe fascinates me as much as ever. His work is an exploration between science, light and poetry, in the service of luxury and innovation.
Pablo is rare and precious.. At once lapidary and mad scientist, uniting tradition and contemporary technology. Everything I love, when the old dresses itself in the new..

I am Alexandre Rossignon, norska, visual artist, artisan and structural engineer.
As an artist, I design and shape matter in all its forms in intimate relation with a place. Wood, stone, metal, concrete, earth, and more. At human scale and beyond…
As an artisan, I work more specifically with wood in an organic way, through the technique of steam bending.
In 2019, I discovered steam-box bending while building a demountable sweat lodge; the technique won me over at once. I have since practiced and transformed my workshops along with each project and creation, so as to practice this technique daily and to a high standard.
With Boris, we developed half-moon circles in steam-bent solid wood. This object, already highly sculptural in itself, will serve as a stand for the sacred geometries he creates and teaches.
Through the choice of wood species, which I hold dear to offer, anyone can weave a particular bond with the living world.
It is a real pleasure for me to work on objects of light and of the opening of the heart. It widens the range of possibilities for solid-wood circles and brings me closer to sculpture, which is my essence.
I have always dreamed of transmitting my craft while traveling, a wish nestled deep in my heart, waiting only for the medium to exist.
The desire to open 3D stained glass ever wider moves me every day, as much as the joy of creating together. Anchoring these gestures in the real, together,
a shared intuition.
So I travel, in France and abroad. Whether for the adventure of a single course, out of simple curiosity, or to bring a place dear to you to life with regular courses, I will gladly come and lead a workshop at your place.
The courses given are similar to the group courses offered where I live. But depending on your wishes, ideas or project, they can be adapted together to offer a unique adventure.
As with all my courses, tools and raw materials are provided. The ArtiZiOM guides used during the course are yours to keep.
Welcome! I designed this place of pause and creation for us. Through my workshops, I invite you to free your creativity, to let resources blossom, or simply to give yourself a breath of lightness. My contribution to the world is humble, through natural or salvaged yet essential materials: opening a suspended space where ideas travel freely from the heart to the hands, and can be touched.
Welcoming Boris and the ArtiZiOM courses to my place was self-evident: for the harmony of the shapes, the active presence in the act of creating, and to discover a bridge of expression and creativity through soldering.
Only your first name and message are needed.
I started 6 years ago just as I work today, under a tree, with an iron and some glass. Nothing has changed, except a few seeds planted here and there..
We see so many people, on social media, on TV, in books and films, seeking the reflection of what they would like to be. If that is so, I would like only this to remain of me:
An idea sprouted, but nothing has changed..
The esteem and envy of others has nothing to do with the value we give ourselves.
I am the happiest of men knowing that you have attempted and completed one of these geometries. If I could do it, so can you. Nothing belongs to us.
For in every human there is creativity, an innate talent. But where to find the room to exercise it? In a world where every day, for many, is a race for survival.
Thank you to my mom, my dad, and my whole family for giving me this time, this love. The space in which to invent.
Thank you to my friends Djé, Emy, Julie, Chichi..
To those I left without a word, forgive me..
For 6 years I was like a ghost, obsessed with this project.
To Alex, partner and friend, thank you for your passion, your efforts, and for never trying to hinder my creativity, my possessiveness.. But always supporting this project.
To my little nephew: deep down, I simply wish to play in his eyes.
May he discover that even in a locked world there are keys we can invent, pencils to draw the thread that ties dreams to reality.
But no question of being well-behaved; simply, sometimes, to fly with the wild geese.
Boris
