8 triangular faces, 6 vertices · the shape of the diamond, the carbon crystal.
This is a geometry that finds its place easily, letting itself be forgotten thanks to its soft, airy nature, the better to illuminate us when we linger on it.
For Plato, the octahedron was air itself: that which circulates, connects, transmits. The shape of subtle movement, between lightness and precision. 8 triangular faces. 12 edges. 6 vertices. It is the geometry of the diamond, which naturally crystallizes as an octahedron. In the Nyingma tradition it is named Vajra; legend likens it to the mystery of the mind, the awareness of all buddhas.
Eight triangles. A single breath.
Closed. The geometry complete in itself. The archetypal fulfillment.
Open. To hold a plant, a candle, a crystal, and to settle, naturally.
Glass is a fragile material. Given the complexity of some creations, slight imperfections may appear; they bear witness to the handmade work.
Clean gently with a microfiber cloth, without applying any product directly onto the piece (put it on the cloth instead). The pieces are not 100% watertight: do not immerse them, and do not leave them hanging outdoors for long periods.
Do not hang the geometries above people's heads in living spaces. Favor a spot close to a wall instead, or place them at head height.
