Zome 8 Yoni
The harmonizing roundness of the zome 8, sublimated in its Yoni version.
8 is already the number of balance and of the harmonization of a place; in Yoni, it grows more tender still. The rhombi stretch upward, the solders grow finer, and the shape, already close to the sphere, takes on an almost carnal softness. This variation was born of a desire to inscribe the feminine into matter, to steer my creations toward more elegance and delicacy. In it we find the egg, the cocoon, the promise: a zome that soothes and envelops, a support for meditation as much as an object of contemplation, a gentle reconnection between earth and sky.
The glasses
Smooth antique. A clean, deep surface that lets light through in clear lines. The sparkles settle like pure facets.
Organic water. A moving texture, rippled like the surface of a lake. Light diffracts through it in waves, more alive, more secretive.
The colors
Emerald. A green, soothing vibration, like undergrowth crossed by sunlight.
Gift of Fire. Warm, amber tones that heat the space and awaken the senses.
Soul of the Forest. Deep greens mingled with browns, like a clearing at dusk.
Campfire. Dancing reds and oranges, a lively, convivial presence.
Clear. The purity of bare glass, a silent elegance dressed in the light of the place.
Freestanding or hanging
Freestanding. The zome accompanies the space. It settles gently into its surroundings, catches the light of the place and sublimates it when you linger. A discreet presence, revealed as the day goes by.
Hanging. The zome becomes a floating presence, a glass star that breathes in the daylight and returns it, sparkle after sparkle, to the space around it.
Glass is a fragile material. Given the complexity of some creations, slight imperfections may appear; they bear witness to the handmade work.
Clean gently with a microfiber cloth, without applying any product directly onto the piece (put it on the cloth instead). The pieces are not 100% watertight: do not immerse them, and do not leave them hanging outdoors for long periods.
Do not hang the geometries above people's heads in living spaces. Favor a spot close to a wall instead, or place them at head height.
