Freestanding
An ample helical structure (56 cm), elongated the better to join with the sky.
I had long dreamed of a zome whose scale would recall the menhirs. Its slightly more slender shape is born of a parameter dear to sacred geometry: Pi multiplied by the square root of 2, the very proportion found in the regulating lines of snow crystals. In its presence, a feeling of sacredness resounds: a church where light seeps in and reflects, diffractions that soothe the mind. Arranged around the number 10, the Pythagorean Tetraktys, it carries the meaning of totality and accomplishment, a link raised between earth and sky.
Freestanding. The zome accompanies the space. It settles gently into its surroundings, catches the light of the place and sublimates it when you linger. A discreet presence, revealed as the day goes by.
Hanging. The zome becomes a floating presence, a glass star that breathes in the daylight and returns it, sparkle after sparkle, to the space around it.
Glass is a fragile material. Given the complexity of some creations, slight imperfections may appear; they bear witness to the handmade work.
Clean gently with a microfiber cloth, without applying any product directly onto the piece (put it on the cloth instead). The pieces are not 100% watertight: do not immerse them, and do not leave them hanging outdoors for long periods.
Do not hang the geometries above people's heads in living spaces. Favor a spot close to a wall instead, or place them at head height.
